I realize it’s been mere days since Netflix dropped the second season of Temptation Island, but fans are already demanding a reunion. After all, it’s been over seven months since filming wrapped in August 2025, so chances are a lot has changed since the four couples left paradise—some still as a pair, some solo. What I need to know: Are Kaylee and Summit living together with a dog? Did Sydney and Xzavier make things work outside of paradise? Did Mikey ever hit up one of the three amigos post-Island? But before we can answer those questions, we need to know whether a Temptation Island season 2 reunion is actually happening.
As a reminder: Though this latest season was only the second one for Netflix, this was actually the tenth season of Temptation Island overall. The reality series first debuted on FOX in 2001 and ran for three seasons before its cancellation. It was then picked up by USA Network in 2019, where it ran for another five seasons before moving to Netflix in 2025. And while Netflix’s first season didn’t get an official reunion on Netflix, an unofficial reunion instead took place on The Viall Files, hosted by Age of Attraction’s Nick Viall and Natalie Joy…and it seems like that could be the case again.
On April 2, the Bachelor Nation alum took to Instagram to write, “Get excited! We’re coming to you LIVE on May 4th with Netflix Is a Joke and the cast of Temptation Island!” Which begs the question: Is this when the reunion will take place?
Per the festival website, The Viall Files podcast is slated to appear at Avalon Hollywood at 9:45 p.m. on May 4 with “the couples of Temptation Island,” but no other info has been provided yet about what audiences can expect. But chances are that Nick isn’t planning to have the Temptation Island folks on his podcast twice so…pretty sure this will serve as the reunion!
However! Season 2 Temptress Sydney Williams just dropped a TikTok alluding to the Temptation Island reunion, and when someone slid into her comments to ask, “WHEN WILL THE RELEASE DATE BE ANNOUNCED,” Sydney replied with, “The couples are going on vial files next week! Episode will drop next week!” Oh??
I’m not super pleased about the idea of having to wait until May to hear the fate of the Temptation Island couples so…hopefully Sydney is right!
